Blood Sugar & Pressure Log ("the app") is made by DuySoft ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app on iPhone.
The short version
- The app has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- The app itself makes no network connections (links to sources open in your browser). We never receive your readings.
- Your readings are stored only on your iPhone, and only you can see them.
- Data leaves your phone only when you choose to share a file or send us an email.
Information you enter
You can enter blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar and blood oxygen values, along with the date and time, arm and position, tags, medication names, notes and reminder times. You type these in yourself. The app does not measure anything and does not read data from other apps or devices.
This information is stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone. It is protected by iOS data protection and is excluded from iCloud and computer backups, so it is not copied to Apple's or anyone else's servers. If you delete the app, this information is deleted too.
Information we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information or usage data with us or with any third party. It contains no third-party SDKs, advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. We do not use your health information for advertising, marketing or data mining.
The app does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or Apple Health.
When information leaves your phone
Only when you take one of these actions:
- Share with your doctor: you create a PDF or CSV report and send it with the iOS share sheet (for example Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Files or Print). The report goes only where you send it. Once it is sent, the privacy of that copy is governed by the service or person you sent it to.
- Backup file: you create a backup file that is encrypted with a passphrase you choose (AES-GCM). You decide where to save it, for example Files or AirDrop. We never see the file or your passphrase, and we cannot recover a forgotten passphrase.
- Feedback email: if you choose "Send feedback", your Mail app opens a message to us. We receive only what you write and send, plus your email address. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
Notifications
If you set reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.
Children
The app is intended for adults (18 and older). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold any of your information (except any email you send us), you control your data directly in the app:
- Edit or delete any reading at any time.
- Delete everything in Settings → Your data → Delete all data, or by deleting the app.
- Export your readings as PDF, CSV or an encrypted backup file.
If you live in a US state with privacy laws (for example California, under the CCPA/CPRA), you have rights to know about, access, correct and delete personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. To make a request about an email you sent us, contact us below.
Health information
The app is a personal log and is not a medical device. We are not a health care provider, and your readings are never sent to us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app's release notes. We will not start collecting data without updating this policy and the App Store privacy label first.
